Description
Born in California and raised in Idaho, Dr. Christopher Stenger earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho in Moscow and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Idaho State University in Pocatello. He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. Dr. Stenger completed a surgical internship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, an orthopedic surgical residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, and an adult hip and knee reconstructive fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. Board-certified, Dr. Stenger’s clinical interests include improving patient outcomes following total knee and hip replacement and hip fracture care. “I intend to provide the best possible care for my patients. Through this surgical specialty, I hope to help patients achieve their maximum level of function by reducing pain and improving their quality of life. Patients should know that I care about their needs and concerns. I am very approachable and love to talk. I believe it’s essential that we understand each other. I will do everything possible to meet the needs of my patients.” When not working, Dr. Stenger enjoys spending time with my wife, four children, and granddaughter! He relishes riding his bike and going to the gym and is passionate about fly fishing.
